Licensing and upgrade information:
Version 12.20 is major upgrade and requires new license keys.
Netop Remote Control customers with a current Netop Advantage agreement are eligible to upgrade to the new version at no additional cost. A set of new license keys will be sent to the Netop Advantage license contact shortly after the public release date. In case you as a partner are the license contact, please make sure the license keys are provided to the end users.
New Release for Netop Vision and Vision Pro Solutions
Akeydor Limited also announces the new Release for Netop version 9 of Vision and Vision Pro classroom management software, which introduces core classroom management features for Mac teacher computers, compatibility with Windows 10, and other improvements.
What’s new in version 9
Vision’s core features for Mac teacher computers:
Netop continues to expand Vision’s platform support with the release of a Mac teacher module. The Mac teacher module for Vision and Vision Pro allows teacher with a Mac computer to share screen, supervise students, blank screens, and turn web access on or off on in a Mac to Mac environment.
Support for mixed platform classes using Vision Windows Teacher:
Vision and Vision Pro supports classrooms with a combination of student operating systems and devices. Students using a Windows PC, a Mac computer, or any web-enabled device can connect to a Teacher Windows computer and join a Vision classroom.
Compatible with Windows 10:
Version 9 of Vision and Vision Pro introduces support for Windows, the latest operating system from Microsoft, with exception of some feature limitations regarding Universal Apps on student computers running Windows 10.
View thumbnails in the class by custom device name:
In addition to the existing options for naming thumbnails in the classroom layout on the Vision teacher computer (Computer Name, Login Name, Requested Name, Network Address, AD Name), Teachers and Admins will now be able to individually name student devices. Only available on Windows teacher.

Availability and language support:
Version 9 of Netop Vision and Vision Pro for Windows will be available in all eleven languages. The Mac teacher module in version 9 for Vision and Vision Pro will initially be available in English and German only. Other language versions will follow in upcoming versions. Netop Vision and Vision Pro version 9 will be available for download from our web pages the day of the release. Please check the Partner Portal on August 25th for the latest news on when the new version is officially released.
